Rare Mind, born in Michoacan Mexico in 1979, and migrated with his family to Los Angeles, Ca. in 1985. Growing up in Los Angeles & heavily influenced by the early age and the Golden Era of Rap & Hip Hop and artists from the West Coast, East Coast, North and South alike ranging from groups such as Goodie Mob, Gang Starr, NWA, BootCampClick, and Wu-Tang Clan, to underground and independent artists such as Madlib, MF Doom, Planet Asia, Jedi Mind Tricks just to name a few would shape Rare Mind's sound and lyrical techniques.
